Applying To Participate In The Tax Prepayment Plan:
  1. In order to participate in the Tax Prepayment Plan, your property taxes must be paid in full, and you cannot already be paying your taxes via your mortgage (P.I.T.).

  2. Complete the below on-line application form (also available as a regular paper application form at the Village Office) to initiate preparation of the official Authorization Form, ensuring that you provide all required information, and submit the application form to the municipality.

  3. The municipality will prepare the official Authorization Form and arrange for the applicant(s) to sign the Authorization Form during regular office hours at the Village Office. If it is more convenient, the Authorization Form can be returned to the applicant(s) for signature via regular mail.

  4. Sign the Authorization Form and return the signed document to the Village Office along with a personal cheque marked "VOID", which will assist in checking the accuracy of the institution and branch transit numbers.

  5. For a joint chequing account, all depositors must sign the Authorization Form, but only if more than one signature is required on cheques issued against the account for verification purposes.

  6. Remember to submit a personal cheque marked "VOID" in addition to signing the Authorization Form prepared by the Village Office.
