Day-to-Day Security Tips

1. Never open your door to strangers.
2. Ask all solicitors for identification and a business
number for verification.
3. Never give out personal information over the
telephone.
4. Never leave "Buglers Welcome" signs such as:
- an accumulation of mail, newspapers or flyers;
- A dark house interior at night;
- open garage doors and gates when you are
not at home.
5. Carry only money you need in your wallet.
6. Always lock your vehicle and place all valuables
out of sight in the trunk.
7. Use timers on interior lights when you are away
from home for an extended period.
8. Tell your neighbours if you are going away.
